Most if not all of these people come from backgrounds that appear to foster their achievements in their respective field.
Does the same apply for entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, design, etc? Or is it a bias that people in academia tend to support their children throughout academia.
My personal philosophy is that anyone is capable of doing whatever they choose, but it seems to help to have history in that field.
